High quality Kaku obi made in Hakata (Kyushu, Japon). Kaku obi were traditionally offered to Shogun family since the Kamakura period as a tax payment (Kenjo)
The name of Kaku obi "Kenjo" means "offering" in Japanese (in the most respectful sense of the word).
