BINGO GASURI: Currently, only two companies, located in Fukuyama and Fuchu, Hiroshima Prefecture, continue to produce Bingo Kasuri textiles.
The latter, which was once one of the "Three Great Kasuri of Japan," boasting the largest production volume in the country, has become a rare traditional craft. From thread dyeing to weaving, everything is done by hand by artisans, and it is characterized by a simple and warm texture achieved through the use of natural dyes.
