Small FUROSHIKI (wrapping cloth) KYOTO
A map of the city of Kyoto and its surroundings, depicting the four guardian deities known as "Shijin Sōō": the Black Tortoise of the North, the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, and the White Tiger of the West.
A location considered to embody the "Shijin Sōō" (harmony with the Four Divine Beasts) is generally one where the four guardian deities protect the four cardinal directions: east, west, north, and south.
