Chokuyu shin ryu was created at the end of the 16th century by Yushinsai INOUE, founder of the "Kobukan" dojo in Kobe. These techniques are divided into two: Kenjutsu and Kusarigama. Kusarigama jutsu is often taught together with the Jiki Shin Kage Ryu Naginata Jutsu.
