Kenjutsu-Mizoguchi ha itto ryu

" Kobudo " series - Mizoguchi ha itto ryu kenjutsu by WADA Susumu

The Mizoguchiha Itto-ryu was created by Kagehisa ITO. He taught at Aizu Domain. The technique is one of the 5 kenjutsu of Aïzu with Anko-ryu, Taïchi-ryu, Shinten-ryu, and Shindoseïbu-ryu. Only upper class Samurai could learn this technique. Today, one techinique has been passed on; "Sayutenkademinohidachi" (a series of kata). In these kata, there are 5 kata with Tachi and 3 kata with kodachi. Characterized by smooth foot movements with short quick steps.
